Welcome to the PMC Franklin Kids Ride!

The PMC Kids Ride gives us the opportunity to work together with the Franklin community and make a significant impact in the fight against cancer. We have all been touched in some way with someone who has had cancer. This ride gives children an opportunity to feel that they can make a difference. It empowers kids to become part of the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) mission of raising money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. This ride also teaches children the value of riding for the benefit of others.

Last year, our ride raised over $39,000 and this year, our goal is $45,000. Please help us reach this goal.

4 Ways to Help Support our Ride:

1.  BAKE SALE = Come support us at one of our 2 Bake Sales on Saturday, April 12th from 9-3pm.  One will be held on Lincoln Street across from Keller Elementary School.  The other will be held at the corner of Jefferson Ave. and King Street outside of Jefferson/Remington School.  We will have lots of homemade baked goods!

2.  NIGHT WITH A MEDIUM - We are also having another fundraising event on Friday, May 2nd.  Night with a Medium.  Join us for this event with Franklin's very own Medium, Stephanie McBride.  We will have a silent auction, light appetizers and a cash bar.  It will be held at the Adirondack Club on Chestnut Street in Franklin.  Tickets are $35 and are selling quickly. Email Lisa at lisabxyz@verizon.net to reserve your tickets before they are sold out.

  • 3 Miles
  • 6Miles - challenging
  • 10 Miles - more challenging with 2 hills
The riders will set off on the back roads of Franklin in groups of 10. Each group  is supervised  with 2 group leaders (one in the front of the pack and one in the back).  So create a team, think of a name and ride with your friends.
