2018 FUNDRAISING GOAL- $10,000+!

See  photo gallery here!

PMC Kids Rides give children the opportunity to experience the joy of volunteerism and charitable giving through physical fitness and community spirit. Money raised through the event goes to the Pan Mass Challenge/Jimmy Fund, the most successful athletic fundraiser in the nation. Kids also have the option to raise funds in the name of a relative or friend fighting cancer or to dedicate their ride to a special person. Check out our generous Sponsors by clicking on the tab at the right.

If you love to bike, cheer, or volunteer, the Middletown PMC is a great opportunity! Join us on May 20th at the Second Beach Parking Lot for our Tenth Annual Ride. We have three routes  (1/4 to 1/2 Mile Loop, Obstacle Course, and Trike Pike) that you may choose to ride.   You can ride as long and far as you would like! Details on these routes may be found under the "Map of Routes" tab. Not only does this give kids a chance to be fit and ride bikes, but it's an awesome opportunity to help find a cure for cancer by fundraising.

To register to ride and to set up your fundraising page click on "Register to Ride". There is a $10 registration fee, and a minimum fundraising goal of $30 that will be due on the day of the ride.  Every rider receives a PMC Kids T-shirt and sporty water bottle, and other special surprises......Frosty Freez and Del's Lemonade too!   Don't miss out and register early to make sure you have a spot in this year's ride.

Too Old To Ride?  If you're 15 or older, you can join the fun as a volunteer. Click on "Register to Volunteer" to help out on event day. If you know someone battling cancer, you know that the ride they are battling is tough.  Volunteering for the PMC could make a huge difference for that friend, relative or even a complete stranger. This ride does not just rely on the wonderful kids of this community; it needs volunteers and there are many opportunities for that. Our volunteers are treated to some wake-up coffee and breakfast items too!  And you get a Volunteer T-shirt!

Please stay for the POST-RIDE PARTY!  Volunteers, Riders and their families can enjoy refreshments, games, entertainment, a FUN raffle, a SUPER silent auction, and face painting.  These are only some of the fun activities!

Be on the lookout for further fun events or incentives to support the Ride! As always, 100% of funds raised goes directly to the cause... you don't get more efficient than that!

Also, click on "Fundraising" in the top menu to learn great ways to make a big difference!  If you have any questions at all please email Beth Larcom at or Liz Larcom at  Make a donation to the Middletown PMC Kids Ride now by clicking the "Donate with e-gifts" tab above. Or mail your check payable to "The PMC/Jimmy Fund" to: Liz Larcom, Middletown PMC Kids Ride, 70 Carriage Trail, Middletown, RI 02842.
