Welcome to the 5th annual Pelham PMC Kids Ride!
Since 1980, the Pan-Mass Challenge has raised $547 million for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund for cancer care and research. The PMC Kids Ride gives children the opportunity to pick up their own bikes and start pedaling for a cure.
We have had many personal losses to cancer over the years, and are very excited to be bringing the Kids Ride to Pelham in honor of survivors and those who have lost their battle to cancer. Please join us on September 9th to help bring us "closer by the mile” to a cure! We look forward to seeing you there!

10:00-12:00 - Party including snacks, bike decorating, face painting, raffles, and more! **Hot dogs will be grilled starting at 11:00!**
We will have one continuous loop around Pelham Elementary School. One loop is approximately 1/2 mile. Kids are encouraged to set a distance goal or ride around as many times as they would like!
Safety first! All participants (both riders and volunteers) are required to wear properly fitting helmets while riding. Please make sure bikes are in good working order before the ride. And remember: this is a ride, NOT a race!
Please click "Register to Ride" to sign up and create your fundraising page (register as an individual or a team). There is a $10 registration fee due at this time (all major credit cards are accepted). Every rider receives an official number for their bike, t-shirt and water bottle at check-in.
When your child registers online, he or she will get their own personal fundraising page. There is a $25 minimum fundraising amount for each child. 100% of all donations go to the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. We hope that many riders will raise more than this! Our goal is to raise as much money as possible while giving children the opportunity to experience charitable giving for a wonderful cause. Riders are encouraged to raise money on their own. Check out some fundraising tips here.
Riders who raise $250 will receive a Heavy Hitter sack pack, and those who raise $750 or more will receive a Breakaway Fundraiser backpack.
We strongly encourage donations to be made online whenever possible. All other cash or check donations (made payable to the PMC) can be brought the day of the ride at check-in. **Please note: minimum must be paid on the day of the ride if your child has not reached the $25 online by then.**
Activities will include face painting, bike decorating, raffles, and a cookout with hot dogs. For the most up-to-date listing of our raffle prizes, please visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pmckidspelham
Volunteers are the backbone of a successful PMC Kids Ride. Get the whole family involved and support the event by working at registration, the water stop, ride guide, clean-up and more! All volunteers receive a PMC t-shirt.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available and encouraged. We are gratefully accepting individual and corporate donation items (sporting tickets, gift cards, baskets, etc.) to be included in the raffle the day of the ride.
