Fundraising
The mandatory fundraising amount per rider is $25, but some kids raise a lot more than that! In fact, riders who raise $250 are considered Heavy Hitters and will receive special recognition and an official PMC Logo Bag. There are lots of ways to fundraise - when you register, we will help you by giving you updates and ideas to make this a memorable event!
Routes
- Tykes and Trikes: Little riders will have a blast in the obstacle course route.
- Burgess Express: A shorter route looping inside the Burgess parking lot – a great route for those still on training wheels.
- Sturbridge Challenge: This route will loop all the way around Burgess Elementary and riders can go around as many times as they want – stop for some water and a snack and head out again!
Why Ride with Us?
PMC Kids Rides give children the opportunity to experience the joy of volunteerism and charitable giving through physical fitness and community spirit. The PMC is the nation’s first fundraising bike-a-thon and today raises more money than any other athletic event in the country. Kids also have the option to raise funds in the name of a relative or friend fighting cancer or to dedicate their ride to a special person. Click on "fundraising" in the top menu to learn great ways to make a big difference!
As always, 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to the Jimmy Fund.
