Welcome to the Uxbridge PMC Kids Ride!
Uxbridge High School PMC Kids’ Ride is proud to announce our third annual ride! Boys and girls from all around the town of Uxbridge and surrounding communities are coming together to help out and donate to find a cure for cancer! Please help us reach our $7,500 fundraising goal! Join the fun and help put a stop to cancer!
Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) events have an unwavering commitment to finding a cure for cancer. In its nearly 40 years, PMC has raised over $547,000,000 for cancer research and care. Although each individual rider has a personal reason for taking part in the event, they are strongly united in their cause...cure cancer. The money raised from the PMC and PMC Kids rides accounts for over half of the total funding for the Jimmy Fund each year. On June 10th, kids in Uxbridge and surrounding towns will join in this established tradition of bike riding and fundraising for Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This ride is dedicated to all of our loved ones whose lives were cut short by cancer and to those who continue to inspire us as they fight on in the ever challenging battle that is cancer. The Uxbridge PMC Kids Ride will bring us "closer by the mile" to a cure!
It takes a cohesive effort in order to raise the proper amount of money that our friends and family in this battle deserve. To help us reach our goal, a minimum fundraising amount of $25 per rider is required. We suggest a fundraising amount of $40 per rider, but in most cases kids raise much more than that! In fact, riders who raise $250 are considered HEAVY HITTERS and receive a Heavy Hitter Sack Pack. Raise $700 and more, you are a BREAKAWAY FUNDRAISER and receive a special backpack! There are lots of ways to fundraise, check out these ideas and download your pledge form here to get started!
Tiger Tykes: Little riders and those on more than 2 wheels will ride around a supervised route in the McCloskey Middle School parking lot.
Warrior Road Ride: An approximately 5 mile route provides riders with a mostly flat ride.
Spartan Road Ride: This 10-mile route provides riders with a more challenging ride with a couple of hills.
