Join us for the 6th Annual
Wellesley Weston PMC Kids Bike Ride on Sunday, June 3rd!
RIDER and VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!!
We need you and your
friends to help cure cancer by joining this year’s ride! Last year’s
ride raised more than $92,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund and
this year we intend to raise even more!!
Be a Fundraiser, Help Cure Cancer AND Win Prizes! The Kids Ride is all about raising money
for Dana Farber to help care for patients and find a cure for cancer. With this mind, every rider is asked to
meet a fundraising minimum ($50 for Tot Lot, $75 for 6-8 years old, $125 for
ages 9 and up). Once you meet your
minimum, lots of great things happen -- you receive a special drawing ticket to
win an iPad3; your name is published in Wellesley/Weston's newspaper as part of our fundraising honor roll; and you get fun
PMC gear to decorate your bicycle. And if you raise $250 or more, you’ll receive special recognition as one
of our Heavy Hitter fundraisers. We’ll even throw in a cool PMC
drawstring backpack as an extra thank you!
Be the largest fundraiser by Ride Day and you’ll win 2 tickets to see the Boston Red Sox play the New York Yankees in their last 2012 regular season matchup! Watch all of the baseball superstars on Roberto Clemente Day just 7 rows behind the Yankees on-deck circle!
Team Up and Get a Slice! The
Wellesley-Weston Kids PMC Ride is teaming up with Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant
again! Each member of the school or team that
raises the most fundraising dollars for Dana Farber by Ride Day (June 3rd) will
get a free Bertucci’s pizza! So get your friends together to ride for a
cure and start working your way to a FREE PIZZA! Virtual riders can join
a team too!!
Lemonade Stands and More! Please join us at the Hardy Elementary School in Wellesley on Sunday, May 6th from 4-5pm to get some great tips to make the most out of your fundraising efforts! Alumni Wellesley-Weston PMC Kids riders will help you with creative ideas to jump start your fundraising and make you a superstar. We’ll top it all off with a make-your-own ice cream sundae party!
We need adults and teens 14+ to volunteer. We need help running activites including face painting, staffing water stops, riding as route marshalls, supervising games, and serving food. Sign up by clicking the "Register to Volunteer" button on the right.
