Who will YOU ride for ?
You are invited to join us on Sunday, June 9th to Ride or Volunteer at this year’s event.
Bring your passion and enthusiasm to help in our continued fight against
cancer. Over the past 5 years families from Westwood and surrounding towns have
rallied to raise over $250K toward life-saving cancer research, but we can’t
stop now.
The Mission of the Westwood Kids Ride is to teach our children the value of working for the benefit of
others, while promoting physical fitness and community spirit. It’s hard to
imagine a family that has not been affected by cancer and this is a great way
for kids to pitch in and make a difference.
Kids, ages 3 to 15, are invited to take part
in our event by riding on one of three bike routes: the 1-mile Kids Loop, the 5-mile
Challenge Routeor the Westwood Warrior 10-mile. But
most important is the fundraising – we need kids who are dedicated to the
cause and are willing to work to help find a cure. Be a PMC Heavy Hitter by raising $250 or more and get a special gift!
Stay for the post-ride party to celebrate with music, food, raffle and fun for
all!
Adults and teens
are encouraged to Volunteer. Choose a job that works for you - register
to help out before the event or on Ride Day. This event would not be possible
without our volunteers!
Thanks for supporting our community as we work together to end cancer,
